Early Life and Career
Horace Grant was born on July 4, 1965, in Augusta, Georgia. He attended Clemson University, where he played basketball and helped the Tigers reach the Final Four in 1987. Grant was selected by the Chicago Bulls with the 10th overall pick in the 1987 NBA Draft.
NBA Career
Grant played 17 seasons in the NBA for four teams: the Chicago Bulls, Los Angeles Lakers, Orlando Magic, and Seattle SuperSonics. He is best known for his time with the Bulls, where he played alongside Michael Jordan, Scottie Pippen, and Dennis Rodman and won three NBA championships (1991, 1992, and 1993).
Grant was a versatile and skilled power forward who was known for his rebounding, defense, and passing ability. He averaged 11.2 points and 8.1 rebounds per game over his career.
